Acids: violet or orange?
This is where the standards differ. NEN 3050 makes acids violet, like bases. The international standard ISO 20560 makes acids orange, with black text (RAL 2008). With us you choose: NEN 3050 (violet) or ISO 20560 (orange). State the standard in your request; without a preference we supply orange to ISO 20560.
Where do you apply pipe markers?
Apply a marker at least at valves and branches, on both sides of a wall or floor penetration, and at regular intervals on long straight runs. Apply it so that it can be read from the normal walking direction. Use an arrow to show which way the medium flows.
